“From the moment we booked the experience was excellent. Marie response fed to everything quickly and was super helpful. Whilst the house is slightly off the beaten track, the location is amazing and was a real highlight of our trip. The views are superb and the accommodation is of a really high standard and very well presented and maintained. The bedrooms are beautiful and whilst we had slight reservations about not having AC before arriving, we found the house to be cool and were really comfortable both during the day and at night with the fans. We expected to be bothered by insect bites etc but found that there was no issues at all. The pool and hammocks are fantastic and eating out on the car and a overcooking the elephant sanctuary was super special. We cooked on quite a few occasions and the facilities were perfect and we had everything we needed. It was also nice that there were drinks like beer and wine in the fridge and water around the house, which was charged like a mini bar and really reasonably priced. We found it easy to go to the beach and Marie arranged us a driver who we used quite a bit. It’s a perfect location for people who value being in a truly beautiful natural setting. We used the house as a base to do trips to mombasa, golanze and a safari to Tsavo and found the location great for all of the above. All in all, we found the Cliff House great in every respect and will certain stay there next time we visit the area. Marie was responsive and always helpful and we have no negatives to report. Book it, you’ll love it.”

“The 1st and only thing you will think of once you arrive and step in the terrace is that this is the paradise that God has promised !
This magical house is the best escape vacation I ever had in my life, you have food prep by an elite chef, no noise, no TV, just elephant park, rivers, birds .. it is the best destination to wash all your worries and get inspired and creative
We had the best experience with Accomodation ever, the owner is very elegant and professional. Coordinated everything very honest and straightforward over emails and reality was much better than expectations
Driver pick up on time, chef on time and cooks best food u can eat, cleaner very nice and u barely feel her presence. The entire team is extremely friendly.
The house is a piece of art carved in the heart of the mountain with 5 bedrooms each is a stand alone character.

“My husband and I were looking for a holiday where nature, peace , good local food and a comfortable house could somehow come together. Cliff House has ticked all our boxes. To actually be able to spot elephants from one’s veranda, together with innumerable birds, butterflies and some monkeys has made a splendid experience of our time there. The house itself is spacious, elegant and cool. We put to good use the infinity pool.We certainly hope to return to Cliff House..”
