The beauty of nature is extremely visible, close and present around the house and the area.

We have told you about the sunsets, the view from the terraces, the river meandering in the valley, the silver shine of the huge Baobab trees in the distance, the gift of suddenly hearing and seeing the elephant herds – but also the smaller animals and birds are amazing. For birdwatchers this place is a paradise – more than 100 different species can be spotted during a week, if you have the ”bird-eye”.

At night you can hear the bush babies close to the house (but you don’t see them, they are very shy) and in february we frequently have the migration of the brown veined white butterfly. Hundreds of thousands of white butterflies come up from the valley, fly over the house, on their way to the east. An almost spiritual experience!
