Menu Cliff House – as prepared by our chef 

BREAKFAST 

B1 – “Rolex”  (Kenyan-style spicy vegetable omelette in a chapati/wrap)

B2 – Pancakes served with syrup and banana

B3 – Fruits and yoghurt (banana, watermelon, mango)

B4 – Bacon or sausages with eggs, cooked to your specifications, with toast

– plus a selection of Kenyan teas and coffee or fresh juice

LUNCH 

Starters

L1s – Spiced fingers of fresh fish, served on a bed of salad greens

L2s – Vegetable samosas, with a tangy mango sauce

L3s – Fresh salad with our Cliff House dressing

Main course

L1m – Swahili-style chicken curry, potato & pea mukimo, chapati

L2m – Tender marinated chicken or fish kebabs with rice & spicy sauce

L3m – Vegetable curry with coconut rice

Dessert

Ld – Fresh fruit salad of locally grown fruit

 – plus Coffee or Tea

DINNER 

Starters

D1s – Couscous with fresh chilli, garlic, tomato and spring onion

D2s – Grilled haloumi cheese on a bed of green salad

D3s – Vegetable soup (carrot or tomato or pumpkin)

Main course

D1m – Chicken Zanzibar, a speciality dish from the famous Spice Island of Tanzania

D2m – Locally caught, grilled red snapper meunière (butter, lemon & parsley sauce)

D3m – Pasta with rich tomato and vegetable sauce
